Notice of Proposed Property Tax Increase for Deerfield Park District
I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax increase for Deerfield Park District for 2022 will be held on December 15, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. at Jewett Park Community Center, 836 Jewett Park Drive, Deerfield, Illinois 60015.

II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended, or abated, for the 2021 tax year were $7,981,674. The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for the 2022 tax year are $8,448,685. This represents a 5.85% increase over the previous year.
III. The property taxes extended, or abated, for debt service and public building commission leases for the 2021 tax year were $203,610. The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for the 2022 tax year are $389,488. This represents a 91.29% increase from the previous year.

IV. The total property taxes extended or abated for the 2021 tax year were $8,185,284. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for the 2022 tax year are $8,838,173. This represents a
7.98% increase from the previous year
