Minnesota Man Charged With Strangulation, Battery With Deadly Weapon: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Veronica Sanchez, 31, of the 3000 block of Enoch Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested June 2 in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. She was released following her arrest.
• Nayeli Y. Ortega, 30, of the 1700 block of Sheridan Road, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested June 2 at Beach and Sheridan roads, Beach Park. She was released following her arrest.
• William M. Wright, 57, of the 40300 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of driving while license revoked, fleeing to elude, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested June 3 at Rollins Road and Adams Avenue, Fox Lake. He was released following his arrest.
• Cedric L. Tubman, 56, of the 400 block of N. Ash Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, fleeing to elude, suspended registration, and was arrested June 4 at Wadsworth Road and Gabriel Avenue, Beach Park. He was released following his arrest.

BURGLARY

Brendan M. Wilcox, 37, of the 33500 block of N. Royal Oak Lane, unincorporated Grayslake, had a warrant for burglary, and was arrested June 2 in the 33500 block of N. Royal Oak Lane, unincorporated Grayslake. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of June 25.

ENDANGER THE WELFARE OF A CHILD

Maksim G. Mitsko, 38, of the 4600 block of N. Austin Avenue, Chicago, is accused of endangering the welfare of a child, and was arrested June 3 in the 33200 block of N. Greentree Road, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of July 2.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

Marcus T. Flowers, 45, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is accused of aggravated domestic battery causing strangulation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, unlawful restraint, and was arrested June 4 in the 0-100 block of Kingston Drive, North Barrington. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of June 26.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Hector S. Hernandez, 39, of the 200 block of S. West Street, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, criminal damage to property, obstructing identification, and was arrested June 5 in the 37800 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of June 25.

TRESPASSING

Ronald E. Bailey, 51, of the 900 block of Maple Avenue, Evanston, had a warrant out of Cook County for trespassing, and was arrested June 5 in the 34200 block of Route 45, Third Lake. A future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

• Kendra N. Beckford, 35, of the 1800 block of Tomahawk Trail, Round Lake Heights, had a warrant for contempt of court, and was arrested June 6 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $2,000 and a court date of June 23 was assigned.
• Kenny A. Navarrete, 31, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, had a warrant for contempt of court, and was arrested June 6 in the 0-100 block of N. County Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $3,110 and a court date of July 7 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Mario Bernal-Aguilar, 37, of the 1200 block of E. Long Valley Drive, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested June 6 at Route 22 and Kruger Road, Kildeer. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 6.
• Maria A. Bueno Lara 46, of the 1300 block of Metropolitan Drive, Waukegan is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 8 at Green Bay Road and 21st Street, Wadsworth. She was released and assigned a court date of July 23.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Jacquelyn R. Kozlov, 36, of the 38000 block of Route 59, unincorporated Lake Villa, had a warrant out of DuPage County for criminal damage to property, public indecency, and was arrested June 8 in the 38000 block of Route 59, unincorporated Lake Villa. A future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Kristina M. Krause, 43, no permanent address, had a warrant for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested June 8 in the 38000 block of Route 59, unincorporated Lake Villa. She was released and assigned a court date of June 10.
