  • Susan A. Schlatholt, 56, of the 500 block of 2nd Street, Grayslake, is accused of speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:09 a.m. Nov. 16, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released on a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 14.
  • Francisco L. Manriquez-Botello, 27, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 10:39 p.m. Nov. 19, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released on a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 21.
  • Cindy A. Molina, 49, of the 5700 block of Capulina Avenue, Morton Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, no valid registration, and was arrested at 1:36 a.m. Nov. 21, near Deerfield Road and Chicory Lane. She was released on a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 21.

Riverwoods Police Officer Joe Petersen responded at 2:15 p.m. Nov. 17, to the area of Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road for an assist ambulance call. A passenger in a vehicle had reportedly become unresponsive and the driver had pulled over to the side of the road and begun CPR. Once on scene, Peterson took over CPR life-saving measures. He was later assisted by Deerfield Officer Barry Schwartz, who additionally attached and utilized an AED to administer a diagnosed shock, then relieved Petersen in administering CPR. Lincolnshire/Riverwoods FD paramedics arrived at the scene and eventually took the person, who now was breathing and had a pulse, to Glenbrook Hospital.
