• Man accused of trying to solicit teen girl at Elmhurst gas station (wgntv.com) — A 70-year-old Deerfield resident has been charged with solicitation of a minor after an alleged incident involving a 17-year-old girl at an Elmhurst gas station. Police say he approached her with sexual comments and an offer of payment before being arrested nearby; he was later released with conditions and has a court date set for late September.
