Duo Nabbed For Battery At Jail: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARMED HABITUAL CRIMINAL

Anthony L. Fisher, 49, of the 8300 block of S. Seeley Avenue, Chicago, had a warrant for armed habitual criminal, and was arrested Aug. 15 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of Sept. 1 was assigned.

BATTERY

  • Norberto Herrera, 35, of the 3000 block of 8th Street, Waukegan, is accused of battery, resisting a correctional officer, and was arrested Aug. 17 at Lake County Jail. He is being held on other charges and was assigned a court date of Aug. 23.
  • Luis F. Quebrado, 31, of the 1800 block of Lincoln Street, North Chicago, is accused of battery, and was arrested Aug. 17 at Lake County Jail. He is being held on other charges and was assigned a court date of Sept. 1.
  • Mark W. Larsen, 46, of the 38400 block of Geraghty Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated battery, domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 18 in Beach Park. Bond was set at $75,000 and a court date of Sept. 13 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

  • Titus J. Weston, 25, of the 700 block of McAlister Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 17 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of Oct. 6 was assigned.
  • Forrest A. Robinson, 36, of the 38600 block of N. Cedar Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 21 in Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 29 was assigned.

FLEEING AND ELUDING

Julissa J. Lopez, 28, of the 2200 block of Eschol Avenue, Zion, is accused of fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, littering, and was arrested Aug. 17 in the 0-100 block of Lake Front Drive, unincorporated Zion. Bond was set at $1,500.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

  • Ta Brenda Lewis, 24, of the 1200 block of Cardinal Drive, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Aug. 17 at Route 173 and Kilbourne Avenue, unincorporated Zion. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Dewayne A. Hill, 54, of the 3000 block of Green Bay Road, North Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Aug. 20 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. Bond was set t $1,500.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Fernando Rocha, Jr., 53, of the 1900 block of Country Drive, Grayslake, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested Aug. 18 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of Sept. 21 was assigned.

SPEEDING

Austin T. Storie, 26, of the 4500 block of Cornerstone Drive, Winthrop Harbor, is accused of aggravated speeding (90 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested Aug. 18 at 29th Street and Sheridan Road, Zion. Bond was set at $1,500.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM

Ricardo Magallanes, 44, of the 3200 block of Gilead Avenue, Zion, had a warrant for reckless discharge of a firearm, and was arrested Aug. 19 in the 0-100 block of N. County Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Sept. 20 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

Ashley Kalter, 32, of the 18400 block of W. Grand Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Aug. 19 in unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Javier Padilla, 38, of the 2300 block of McAree Road, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 19 at Hunt Club and Stearns School roads. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.
  • Pratap Alluri, 61, of the 500 block of Torrey Pines Way, Vernon Hills, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, and was arrested Aug. 21 in the 25600 block of Route 60, unincorporated Grayslake.
  • Pedro Garza Gomez, 33, of the 6800 block of W. Walcott Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 21 at Yorkhouse and McCarthy roads, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 28 was assigned.

RECKLESS DRIVING

Angie Novy, 41, of the 400 block of Bedford Lane, Volo, is accused of reckless driving, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Aug. 20 in the 400 block of Bedford Lane, Volo. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.

ASSAULT

Jesus Morales, 35, of the 38200 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for assault, and was arrested Aug. 21 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of Aug. 26 was assigned.
