Woman Arrested Twice On Same Day: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

SPEEDING

• Emanuel Lopez-Gutierrez, 19, of the 2800 block of Grandville Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated speeding (98 mph in a 45 mph zone), no insurance, and was arrested on Aug. 8 at 21st Street and Lewis Avenue, Zion. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Juan C. Guerra, 20, of the 1500 block of Cherokee Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated speeding (103 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested Aug. 9 at Peterson and Alleghany roads, Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Jasmine M. Paulsen, 42, of the 800 block of Chasefield Lane, Crystal Lake, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing and eluding, driving while license revoked, and was arrested on Aug. 8 at Lewis Avenue and Bernice Terrace, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 28 was assigned.
• Daniel J. Pogorzelski, 49, of the 1200 block of Trinity Place, Libertyville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 9 at Route 120 and Wilson Road, unincorporated Round Lake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date 0f Sept. 21 was assigned.
• Erik Peterson, 38, of the 0-100 block of Hickory Road, Hawthorn Woods, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 12 at Route 83 and Oak Grove Road, Long Grove. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 29 was assigned.
• Scott A. Nielsen, 66, of the 100 block of Abbott Park Road, North Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, had a warrant for driving under the influence, and was arrested Aug. 12 at Lewis Avenue and Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Aug. 17 was assigned.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

• Kyle A. Knight, 22 of the 18100 block of W. Lindenwood Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, burglary, criminal damage to property, and was arrested Aug. 9 in unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.
• Alexandra C. Samonds, 23, of the 33000 block of W. Tomahawk Place, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of theft of motor vehicle, burglary, and was arrested Aug. 9 in the 18100 block of Twin Lake Boulevard, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 31 was assigned.

BATTERY

Alexandra C. Samonds, 23, of the 3300 block of W. Tomahawk Place, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of battery, and was arrested Aug. 9 in unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 31 was assigned.

LAST WEEK: Man Violates No Stalking Order

NO VALID COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE

Pavlo Fediura, 29, of Mandan, North Dakota, is accused of no valid commercial driver's license, overweight on registration, and was arrested Aug. 9 at Route 41 and Washington Street, Park City. Bond was set at $1,500.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

Michael S. Cullen, 57, of the 1000 block of New York Street, Chicago, is accused of criminal damage to government property, and was arrested Aug. 10 at Lake County Jail. He was being held on other charges and was assigned a court date of Sept. 6.

RETAIL THEFT

Kevin M. Van, Jr., 33, of the 23400 block of N. Meadow Lane, unincorporated Barrington, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Aug. 10 in unincorporated Barrington. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 29 was assigned.

THEFT

Tiffany S. Johnson, 44, of the 3500 block of Pontiac Avenue, North Chicago, had a warrant for theft, and was arrested Aug. 11 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 30 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Sean M. Burback, 27, of the 31200 block of Route 45, unincorporated Libertyville, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 11 in unincorporated Libertyville. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of Aug. 19 was assigned.
