Pot Dispensary in Deerfield Will Offer Yoga, Massage and Nutritional Classes
The grand opening of Greenhouse - the first medical marijuana dispensary on the upper North Shore - is set for Thursday.

DEERFIELD, IL - The medical marijuana era on the upper North Shore of Chicago will kickoff Thursday with the opening of Greenhouse, a dispensary at 151 S. Pfingsten Road in Deerfield.
A ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 7 will mark the Grand Opening of Greenhouse, a new medical marijuana dispensary, at 151 S. Pfingsten Road, Unit V, Deerfield. A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m., and the doors will open for business a half-hour later, according to a community contribution on the Daily North Shore. Everyone with a Registry Identification Card who selected Greenhouse will be able to purchase medical cannabis.
“We are thrilled to be finally opening our doors to serve our patients and provide them with a first class experience. It has been a long journey,” said Mitch Kahn, CEO of Greenhouse.

The dispensary will be restricted to only those with a medical marijuana card, and a bulletproof entryway will prevent those without one from entering.
In addition to medical marijuana, the dispensary will offer other healthy activities such as yoga, therapeutic massage and nutritional classes, according to the DNS.

The grand opening will include 15 different strains of marijuana to choose from, based on the patient’s condition and symptoms. Concentrates and edibles will also be available.
