Gary M. Scahffer, 37, of the 25600 block of W. Raska Lane, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of battery, and was arrested Jan. 2 in the 27500 block of Volo Village Road, Volo. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Jan. 18 was assigned.

Evan E. Crews, 32, of the 40100 block of N. Glendale Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Jan. 2 in the 40100 block of N. Glendale Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 13 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

Arturo Arroyo, 35, of the 2900 block of 26th Street, Zion, is accused of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal trespass to property, criminal damage to property, resisting arrest, and was arrested Jan. 2 in the 10300 block of W. Crissy Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of Jan. 13 was assigned.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Michael V. Kaprelian, 38, of the 400 block of Gillet Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Jan. 3 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Darien P. Greene, 30, of the 4100 block of Douglas Drive, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Jan. 3 at Green Bay Road and Major Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Vidol K. Witherspoon, 29, of the 2500 block of Gideon Avenue, Zion, had a warrant for driving while license revoked, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Jan. 11 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

  • Valentin Perez, 36, of the 37900 block of Loyola Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, battery, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 37900 block of Loyola Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of Jan. 13 was assigned.
  • Matthew X. Devost, 22, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 13 was assigned.
  • Sarah L. Rosing, 39, of the 10200 block of Crissy Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Jan. 8 in the 10200 block of W. Crissy Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Feb. 7 was assigned.

Anthony J. Alo, 35, no permanent address, is accused of criminal trespass to residence, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 33500 block of N. Hunt Club Road, unincorporated Libertyville. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Feb. 1 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

  • Juan Robles-Hernandez, 37, of the 1200 block of Idlewild Drive, Round Lake Beach, had a warrant out of Kane County for criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 1200 block of Idlewild Drive, Round Lake Beach. Bond was not available at the time of the report and future court date in Kane County was still to be determined.
  • Salacia W. O'Neal, 39, no permanent address, is accused of criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of Jan. 19 was assigned.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Meshi A. Miller, 21, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for criminal damage to property, and was arrested Jan. 4 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Gail L. Novotny, 31, of the 600 block of Emerald Avenue, Mundelein, had a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, and was arrested Jan. 5 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was assigned.
  • Euclid A. St. John, 69, of the 4000 block of Ridge Road, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 6 at Delany and Stonegate roads, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 1 was assigned.
  • Ronny Obispo-Mencias, 18, of the 200 block of Jackson Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, reckless driving, attempted possession of a fraudulent ID card, and was arrested Jan. 7 at Lewis and Glen Flora avenues, Waukegan. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 22 was assigned.
  • Deanne L. Sloan, 57, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 8 at Wadsworth and Sheridan roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 22 was assigned.
  • Ariana Tepps, 32, of the 600 block of Penn Boulevard, Lindenhurst, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 8 at Genoa Avenue and Granada Boulevard, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

John L. Guy, 40, of the 600 block of W. Lakeside Drive, Palatine, had a warrant for disorderly conduct, driving while license revoked, and was arrested Jan 5 at the Lake Forest Oasis. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was assigned.

THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Hasaan Z. Carr, 18, of the 2300 block of N. Salem Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and was arrested Jan. 5 at Silver Oaks Drive and Monaville Road, Round Lake Beach. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Jan. 13 was assigned.

PREVENTING APPREHENSION OF A FUGITIVE

Kenneth E. Martin, 52, of the 2800 block of W. 29th Street, Zion, had a warrant for preventing apprehension of a fugitive, obstructing justice, and was arrested Jan. 6 at 33rd Street and Colgate Avenue, Zion. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Jan. 17 was assigned.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

Mario A. Roque, Jr., 33, of the 1000 block of Piccolo Lane, Volo, is accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, resisting arrest, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 1000 block of Piccolo Lane, Volo. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was assigned.

ENDANGERING THE HEALTH/WELFARE OF A CHILD

  • Jose U. Ramirez, 32, of the 1200 block of Collier Court, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, endangering the health/welfare of a child, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000 and a court date of Feb. 22 was assigned.
  • Ivvy J. Ocampo, 19, of the 1200 block of Collier Court, Waukegan, is accused of endangering the health/welfare of a child, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Feb. 22 was assigned.
