Prisoner Assaults Guard At County Jail: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
The Gurnee resident is accused of aggravated battery to a correctional officer.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. - Miguel A. Valle Ortega, 39, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 22 at Sheridan Road and Logan Court, Zion. He was released and assigned a court date of March 6.
- Rafael D. Alday, 37, of the 1900 block of Arthur Drive, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, aggravated speeding (66 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested Jan. 23 at Yorkhouse and Charleston roads, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of March 13.
- Ashley Robinson, 40, of the 5700 block of Churchill Lane, Libertyville, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 27 in the 31700 block of Hanlon Road, unincorporated Libertyville. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 28.
- Ubaldo L. Sanchez-Ochoa, 26, of the 800 block of S. McAlister Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI drugs, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Jan. 28 at Route 137 and Clover Lane, unincorporated Libertyville. They were released and assigned a court date of March 27.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM
A juvenile had a warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm, and was arrested Jan. 23 in the 0-100 block of N. Country Street, Waukegan.

RETAIL THEFT
Travis G. Prewitt, 45, of the 1700 block of Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Jan. 23 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 22.
BATTERY
Abrae D. Sawyers, 40, of the 1200 block of Blackburn Street, Gurnee, is accused of aggravated battery to a correctional officer, and was arrested Jan. 24 at Lake County Jail. Sawyers was being held at Lake County Jail on other charges at the time of the arrest. A court date of Jan. 31 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Elizabeth A. Sandy, 37, of the 1800 block of Brentwood Drive, Round Lake Heights, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Jan. 24 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 21.
- Eric Hernandez, 33, of the 0-100 block of Hilltop Drive, Lake in the Hills, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Jan. 26 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 26.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE
- Jose S. Rivera Rubio, 26, of the 2300 block of Kristan Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of having no driver's license, driving with a suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 24 at Sheridan Road and Chaney Avenue, Beach Park. He was released after his arrest.
- Bernard J. O'Hallaren, 62, of the 300 block of S. Main Street, Wauconda, is accused of having no driver's license, fleeing to elude, aggravated speeding (70 mph in a 40 mph zone), and was arrested Jan. 26 in the 6000 block of Gurnee Mills Circle, Gurnee. He was released after his arrest.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED
- Davaion T. Selvy, 22, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, aggravated speeding (83 mph in a 55 mph zone), suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 28 at Route 41 and Casimir Pulaski Drive, North Chicago. Selvy was released after the arrest.
- Inocencio Miguel-Calixtro, 40, of the 1800 block of 20th Street, North Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, aggravated speeding (82 mph in a 55 mph zone), no insurance, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Jan. 28 at Route 41 and Casimir Pulaski Drive, North Chicago. They were released after their arrest.
