Wisconsin Man Nabbed On 2 Warrants: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
His latest arrest was for criminal damage to state supported property at the Lake County Jail, which led to the warrant charges.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. - David V. Silva, Jr., 45, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, aggravated driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 16 at 21st Street and Lewis Avenue, Zion. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Feb. 5.
- Gustavo Benavides, 34, of the 1700 block of Dickinson Street, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, reckless driving, and was arrested Jan. 17 at Butrick and Pine streets, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 21.
- Mario Alvarez, 35, of the 2000 block of Pearsall Parkway, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Jan. 18 at Lewis Avenue and Longview Road, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 28.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO STATE SUPPORTED PROPERTY
Blake W. Alexander, 37, of the 23300 block of Liberty Street, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of criminal damage to state supported property, and was arrested Jan. 17 at the Lake County Jail. He was being held there on other charges at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Jan. 3o. At the time of the report, he was being held for the warrants. A court date of Feb. 15 was assigned for the new charge in Lake County, while future court dates in Kane and DeKalb counties was to be determined at the time of the report.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO MOTOR VEHICLE
Bryan J. Thomas, 37, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is accused of criminal trespass to motor vehicle, had warrants out of Kane County (contempt of court), DeKalb County (DUI alcohol), and was arrested Jan. 17 in the 1100 block of S. Waukegan Road, Waukegan.
FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER
Jesus Ortega, 49, of the 3000 block of Caryn Lane, Waukegan, had warrants for failure to report as a sexual offender, driving under the influence, and was arrested Jan. 18 in the 0-100 block of MLK Jr. Avenue, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 21.
