Railroad Track Trespassing Arrest Made: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Christopher J. Slomczewski, 36, of the 300 block of Ginger Lane, Antioch, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested June 19 in the 37800 block of Route 173, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $300,000 and a court date of June 30 was assigned.
  • Matthew R. McCann, 31, of the 35200 block of N. Juniper Street, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested June 25 in the 35200 block of N. Juniper Street, unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of July 11 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Rogelio De Luna, 47, of the 2500 block of Dakota Road, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested June 19 in the 11400 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of July 26 was assigned.
  • Bertin Rogel-Jacobo, 39, of the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested June 21 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Aug. 2 was assigned.
  • Michelle M. Petersen, 63, of the 35000 block of N. Gilmer Road, Volo, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested June 22 at Gilmer and Volo Village roads, Volo. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Aug. 19 was assigned.
  • Gonzalo Mesias Colan, 22, of the 1100 block of Cedar Creek Drive, Lake Zurich, had a warrant out of McHenry County for driving under the influence, and was arrested June 22 in the 21000 block of Deerpath Road, unincorporated Barrington. Bond was set at $10,000 and a future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.
  • Angel Bartolo-Esquivel, 47, of the 100 block of Victory Lane, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, and was arrested June 24 at Route 120 and Ellis Road, Volo. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of June 29 was assigned.
  • Arturo G. Gallegos, 40, of the 2400 block of Lawson Boulevard, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested June 25 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Aug. 2 was assigned.

  • Benjamin J. Lennon, 29, of the 36900 block of Helen Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of aggravated speeding (83 mph in a 40 mph zone), and was arrested June 20 at Grass Lake and Bluff Lake roads, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Kingsley K. Okoronkow, 39, of the 500 block of Lakehurst Road, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated speeding (94 mph in a 55 mph zone), and was arrested June 20 at Route 12 and Bonner Road, unincorporated Wauconda. Bond was set at $1,500.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A FIREARM

Ariel Barr, 29, of the 2500 block of Evergreen Circle, McHenry, had a warrant for aggravated battery with a firearm, and was arrested June 21 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of July 20 was assigned.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Tyler A. Bowie, 27, of the 17800 block of W. Big Oaks Road, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested June 21 in the 34100 block of N. Route 45, Third Lake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of July 24 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

  • A warrant was obtained for Craig M. James, 61, of the 100 block of Hillshire Court, Inverness, for violation of an order of protection on June 21 in the 100 block of Hillshire Court, Inverness. Bond was set at $50,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
  • Ricardo Gutierrez-Angeles, 49, of the 400 block of Forest Avenue, Round Lake, had a warrant for violation of an order of protection, and was arrested June 22 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of June 29 was assigned.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

  • Crisofor Fuentes-Aguilra, 43, of the 26200 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested June 22 in the 26400 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $1,500 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
  • Ricardo Gonzalez Rodriguez, 25, of the 0-100 block of King Arthur Court, North Lake, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested June 24 in the 27800 block of W. Grass Lake Road, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of July 31 was assigned.

RETAIL THEFT

Deangelo D. McShane, 26, of the 500 block of 21st Street, Waukegan, had a warrant out of Will County for retail theft, and was arrested June 23 in the 200 block of W. Water Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $25,000 and a future court date in Will County was to be determined at the time of the report.

TRESPASSING ON RAILROAD PROPERTY

Colin A. Butler, 35, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is accused of trespassing on railroad property, and was arrested June 23 at Wadsworth Road and the Canadian Pacific railroad tracks, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Aug. 2 was assigned.
