DEERFIELD, IL — Residents wishing to share their thoughts about downtown Deerfield were asked to fill out a survey from the Village Center Commission.

The survey takes about five minutes to complete. It asks residents whether they feel "downtown Deerfield is safe to walk [through]," whether they "would recommend downtown Deerfield to a friend" and how often they patronize various types of businesses in the area.

The commission is accepting responses to the 2019 Village Center Resident Survey through March 31. It aims to promote improvements to the village's downtown to support its vitality and desirability, according to village staff. The results of the survey will better village officials to design programs to meet the needs and preferences of residents.
