Riverwoods Village Hall Shuttered After Positive Coronavirus Test
A relative of a village employee tested positive for COVID-19, leading to a two-week closure of village hall.

RIVERWOODS, IL — Riverwoods Village Hall was closed to both the public and village staff Thursday after a relative of a village employee tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Village officials decided on a total shutdown of the building after reviewing options with Police Chief Bruce Dayno and Village Trustee Henry Hollander, who is a physician, according to a statement.
The closure is anticipated to last for at least two weeks, unless medical officials provide an "all-clear" earlier.
