Shawn J. Murphy, 44, of the 38300 block of N. 5th Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove, is accused of failure to register as a sexual offender, and was arrested Jan. 8 in the 0-100 block of S. MLK Jr. Avenue, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 31.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Sergio H. Rios, 41, of the 0-100 block of S. Midland Avenue, Mundelein, had a warrant for violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Jan. 11 in the 0-100 block of S. Midland Avenue, Mundelein. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 1.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

  • John F. Waldron, III, 41, of the 2800 block of Walnut Drive, Wonder Lake, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 11 in the 37500 block of N. Tyrone Place, unincorporated Spring Grove. He was released.
  • Christopher Kowalski, 36, of the 2000 block of Irving Parkway, is accused of driving while license suspended, driving with suspended registration, and was arrested Jan. 14 at St. Paul and Lee avenues, Gurnee. He was released.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

Kenenth F. Willis, 60, of the 10300 block of W. Yale Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of unlawful possession of a weapon, and was arrested Jan. 14 in the 10300 block of W. Yale Avenue, Beach Park. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Jan. 16.
