Speeding Drag Racers Busted In Gurnee: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
The pair were driving over 90 mph in a 45 mph zone at the time of their arrest, according to police.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. - Zion M. Fleming, 23, of the 38100 block of N. Loyola Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of criminal damage to state supported property, and was arrested July 1 at the Lake County Jail. He was already being held there on other charges and was assigned a court date of July 30.
- Jamie M. Mathis, 43, of the 400 block of Farmwood Court, Round Lake, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested July 3 at the Lake County Jail. They were being held there on other charges and were assigned a court date of July 23.
SPEEDING
- Rory E. Stewart, 27, of the 1400 block of Abington Cambs Drive, Lake Forest, is accused of aggravated speeding (86 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 1 at Route 60 and Grainger Parkway, Mettawa. He was released following his arrest.
- Rene Paz-Rivas, 32, of the 600 block of Ivy Court, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated speeding (80 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 2 at Rollins and Drury roads, unincorporated Round Lake. She was released following her arrest.
- Rubi Vazquez, 19, of the 1000 block of Villa Vista Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated speeding (80 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 2 at Rollins and Drury roads, unincorporated Round Lake. She was released following her arrest.
- Elijah J. Martin, 22, of the 5200 block of Louis Court, Gurnee, is accused of aggravated speeding (91 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 3 at Rollins and Drury roads, unincorporated Round Lake. He was released following his arrest.
- Alex Salgado, 28, of the 300 block of Beachview Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated speeding (93 mph in a 45 mph zone), drag racing, and was arrested July 3 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, unincorporated Gurnee. He was released following his arrest.
- Karina Rosas, 34, of the 1200 block of Village Lane, Round Lake, is accused of aggravated speeding (93 mph in a 45 mph zone), drag racing, and was arrested July 3 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, unincorporated Gurnee. She was released following her arrest.
- James P. Hill, 50, of the 1300 block of Meadowbrook Drive, Round Lake Beach is accused of aggravated speeding (80 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 5 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, unincorporated Gurnee. He was released following his arrest.
- Casey J. Geisseberger, 31, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated speeding (101 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 5 at Washington Street and Six Flags Boulevard, Gurnee. He was released following his arrest.

- Brian E. Thomas, 41, of the 3900 block of Harper Avenue, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested July 1 at Route 83 and Monaville Road, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 28.
- Fabian J. Nunn, 20, of the 2200 block of Lewis Avenue, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, aggravated speeding (91 mph in a 35 mph zone), underage possession of alcohol, and was arrested July 3 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 7.
- Alysha V. Roberson, 34, of the 100 block of Channel Drive, Port Barrington, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested July 5 at Delany and Wadsworth roads, Wadsworth. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 14.
- Eduardo M. Vara Millian, 34, of the 1900 block of Wright Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended, and was arrested July 6 at 29th Street and Lewis Avenue, Zion. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report adn was assigned a court date of July 9.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Isidro Hernandez, 25, of the 1300 block of Kildeer Drive, Round Lake, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested July 2 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. They were released and assigned a court date of Aug. 27.

CONTEMPT OF COURT
Karen C. Ratliff, 30, of the 1600 block of Mark Avenue, Elgin, had a warrant out of Kane County for contempt of court, a new charge of improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested July 3 at Route 120 and O'Plaine Road, Waukegan. A future court date in Kane County was to be determined at the time of the report.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE
Monae T. McBride, 23, of the 200 block of S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, is accused of no driver's license, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested July 3 at Route 12 and Long Grove Road, Deer Park. She was released following her arrest.
OPERATING A WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Kevin Toledo, 28, of the 1900 block of 2nd Street, Highland Park, is accused of operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested July 3 at Nippersink Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 14.
VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Jorge O. Herrera, 51, of the 300 block of Palmer Avenue, Highwood, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested July 5 in the 300 block of Palmer Avenue, Highwood. He was being detained in the Lake Count Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of July 9.
