Starbucks in Deerfield Could Sell Beer and Wine Soon

The Seattle-based coffee giant has applied for a liquor license at its Deerfield Road stop.

DEERFIELD, IL - How about a venti white chocolate mocha.

A Starbucks order like that could soon be possible at the Deerfield Road location downtown as the coffee giant looks to expand its “evening’s” program that offers beer and wine at certain locations.

The Deerfield village board of trustees will decide on Starbucks’ request for a Class C liquor license as early as a month from now, the Deerfield Review reports. If the request is approved, the company will sell 9-10 selections of wine and have 4-5 craft beer choices available.

The sales of wine and beer will begin at 2 p.m. during the week and at noon Saturday and Sunday.
