Tinley Park Woman Killed In Deerfield Crash On I-294: Police

The victim crashed into a bridge support at a high rate of speed and was ejected from the car, suffering fatal injuries, police said.

DEERFIELD, IL — A Tinley Park woman was killed early Saturday in a crash on Interstate 294, according to police.

The incident occurred about 2 a.m. on northbound I-294 at Lake-Cook Road in Deerfield, police said. The 29-year-old lost control of her 2010 Infiniti G37, crashed into a bridge support at a high rate of speed, and was ejected from the car, suffering fatal injuries, according to police, who said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lanes fully reopened more than five hours later, at about 7:30 a.m., police said.
