Village Of Deerfield: Mayor Proclaims June LGBTQ Pride Month

At the June 3 Village Board meeting, Mayor Daniel C. Shapiro proclaimed June 2024 as LGBTQ Pride Month in the Village of Deerfield.

The Deerfield Fine Arts Commission and Friends of the Deerfield Public Library are sponsors of the fourth year of the Deerfield Public Library’s award-winning Queer Poem-a-Day podcast, a unique podcast series for Pride Month presenting a public archive of original poems written and read by contemporary LGBTQIA+ poets.

June 15 is Pride Day at the Deerfield Farmers Market featuring booths from the Deerfield Community Relations Commission, Deerfield PFLAG and One Medical Deerfield.
