Village Of Deerfield: Resurfacing Project On Waukegan Road Starts Next Week

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) anticipates beginning their resurfacing project along Waukegan Road from Lake Cook Road to Half Day Road (IL 22) the week of April 8. This project will result in daily lane closures to complete the work and is anticipated to be completed by the end of September. As the owners of the road, IDOT will be managing the project but the Village will be in coordination with IDOT throughout the construction and will provide updates via the blog on the Village website. This project will be similar in nature to the Waukegan Road resurfacing project that took place south of Lake Cook Road in 2021.
