Violent Crime Almost Doesn’t Exist in Deerfield

FBI's unified crime report numbers for 2015 show low totals in Deerfield.

DEERFIELD, IL - There were only seven incidents of violent crime reported in Deerfield during the entire 2015 calendar year.

That’s according to numbers released last week by the FBI and its Unified Crime Report of offenses known to local police departments.

In Deerfield, police reported no murders, no rapes, two robberies and five aggravated assaults all year.

There were 116 incidents of property crime reported in Deerfield in 2015, including 22 burglaries, 87 cases of larceny or theft and seven reported motor vehicle thefts.
