Walgreens To Add New Signage in Deerfield

Walgreens is now likely to add new flag poles and signage to its corporate headquarters in Deerfield after village trustees recommended the corporation’s exterior improvement plan last week.

The plan includes allowing two monument signs rather than the one at its entrance and three flag poles, according to the Deerfield Review.

At least 10 residents living in the vicinity of the headquarters sent letters to the village complaining the addition would affect property values and diminish “the community feel,” but no one spoke against the proposal when it was presented to the Village.
