Warrior Wrestling's Elite Run Continues

The Deerfield High School wrestling team is in the team state tournament for the first time since 1967, currently in the Elite Eight round after beating Algonquin Jacobs, 48-12. The next step will be a dual meet against Lockport Friday at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.

DHS wrestlers include: Dylan Utterback, Matt Templeton, Kyle Clough, Aaron Brailov, Kenny Kerstein, Brendon Beyer, Nick Kupets, Jack Moran, Andrew Grossman, Alex Burns, Andrew Mehrholz, Patrick Sardi, Sage Heller, Scott Garcia, Brady Glantz, Alleman Bulut, Erin Karp, TJ Thompson, Christo Moran, Sergio Rangel and Quincy Novak.
