Wisconsin Man Nabbed On Forgery Warrant: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

AGGRAVATED FLEEING AND ELUDING

• Edward D. Meeks, 29, of the 1100 block of Waller Avenue, Chicago, had a warrant out of DuPage County for aggravated fleeing and eluding, domestic battery, and was arrested Oct. 3 at Rollins Road and Helendale Avenue, Ingleside. A future court date in DuPage County was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Neftali DeJesus-Bahena, 31, of the 200 block of Main Street, Round Lake Park, had a warrant for aggravated fleeing and eluding, and was arrested Oct. 4 in the 900 block of Lotus Drive, Round Lake Beach. A court date of Oct. 30 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Flor Vargas, 38, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Oct. 3. A court date of Oct. 27 was assigned.
• Oscar Carvajal Delgado, 42, of the 3500 block of Elaine Avenue, Park City, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Oct. 4 at Lewis Avenue and Bonnie Brook Lane, Waukegan. A court date of Nov. 8 was assigned.
• Sotelo Carreno Clemente, 38, of the 42300 block of N. Kenosha Road, Beach Park, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Oct. 7 at 33rd Street and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. A court date of Oct. 25 was assigned.
• Malakai N. Stovall, 24, of the 300 block of Dewey Avenue, Great Lakes, is accused of DUI alcohol, aggravated speeding (100 mph in a 45 mph zone), reckless driving, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Oct. 7 at Routes 21 and 137, Libertyville. A court date of Nov. 22 was assigned.

RECKLESS DRIVING

Oscar Carvajal Delgado, 42, of the 3500 block of Elaine Avenue, Park City, is accused of reckless driving, and was arrested Oct. 4 at Lewis Avenue and Wadsworth Road, Beach Park.

FORGERY

Jason P. Folker, 36, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, had a warrant for forgery, identity theft, retail theft, and was arrested Oct. 8 in the 0-100 block of S. MLK Jr. Avenue, Waukegan. He was remanded to Lake County Jail and was assigned a court date of Oct. 10.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Enrique I. Sanchez-Majia, 27, of the 1300 block of Aiken Court, Winthrop Harbor, is accused of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, DUI alcohol, and was arrested Oct. 8 at 33rd Street and Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was held pending first court appearance and was assigned a court date of Oct. 10.
