Woman Batters Cop, Corrections Officer: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Cassandra Yentine Slater, 71 of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Sept. 9 at Green Bay and Adelaide roads, Beach Park. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 23.
• Fabian J. Wilson, 32, of the 1500 block of Lorelei Drive, Zion, had a warrant out of aggravated DUI, and was arrested Sept. 12 in the 1500 block of Lorelai Drive, Zion. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 2.

FRAUD

Kendrick T. Lewis, 43, of the 2900 block of Florence Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant out of Cook County for fraud, and was arrested Sept. 9 at Route 83 and Engle Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa. A future court date in Cook Count was to be determined at the time of the report.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Shawn'qua T. Wade, 29, of the 300 block of N. Green Bay Road, Waukegan, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested Sept. 10 in the 38000 block of N. Wilson Avenue, Beach Park. Wade was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 30.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

Anthony P. Edwards, 50, of the 1700 block of N. Ash Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, suspended registration, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Sept. 11 in the 37700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released following his arrest.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Kenny D. Soriano-Garcia, 38, of the 1800 block of Grand Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested Sept. 12 at Lake County Jail. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 26.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

Norman R. Haydenburg, 59, of the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Sept. 12 in the 20500 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, unincorporated Deerfield. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.

RETAIL THEFT

Tyree D. Smith, 27, of the 200 block N. County Street, Waukegan, is accused of retail theft, obstructing identification, and was arrested Sept. 12 in the 25900 block of Riverwoods Road, Mettawa. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail and was assigned a court date of Oct. 10.

SPEEDING

Danyae D. Stingley, 19, of the 700 block of S. McAlister Drive, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated speeding (76 mph in a 40 mph zone), no insurance, and was arrested Sept. 12 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. They were released following their arrest.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER

• Carlos Mateo-Reyes, 23, of the 700 block of N. Riverside Drive, Gurnee, is accused of aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated battery to a correctional officer, and was arrested Sept. 14 in the 32000 block of Savannah Drive, Lakemoor. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 25.
• Jayla M. Martinez-Pluschke, 21, of the 39100 block of N. Lewis Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated battery to a correctional officer, resisting arrest, reckless driving, and was arrested Sept. 15 in the 39100 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. They were being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the arrest and were assigned a court date of Sept. 17.

OPERATING A WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

Elaine F. Cook, 62, of the 8800 block of Osceola Avenue, Morton Grove, is accused of operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Sept. 14 at Fox Lake. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 23.

OBSTRUCTING A PEACE OFFICER

Demiah D. Dicke, 24, of the 800 block of John Manville Place, Waukegan, is accused of obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and was arrested Sept. 15 in the 39200 block of N. Holdridge Avenue, Beach Park. They were released and assigned a court date of Oct. 30.
