• IDNR seeks witnesses to Lisle man boating before fatal Fox River crash near McHenry (shawlocal.com) — A Des Plaines woman was killed in a July 25 Fox River boat crash, and state conservation police are now asking the public to help identify potential witness boaters seen in a YouTube video from earlier that day. Investigators say the Lisle man charged in the case was allegedly speeding and intoxicated, and charges were recently upgraded to first-degree murder and aggravated DUI. Anyone with information is urged to contact IDNR's online tip portal.
