Actors are needed to bring the winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama to the stage. Open call auditions for Oakton Community College’s production of “Doubt: A Parable” are scheduled 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 18-19, at the college’s Studio One Theater, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.

The director is seeking one male in his 30s and three females ages 20 to 60s. One woman is African-American. Prepare a contemporary monologue less than two minutes long and come ready to do a cold reading from the script. Monologues need not be memorized.

Set during the turbulent 1960s, “Doubt: A Parable” pits Sister Aloysius Beauvier, a conservative school principal, against the progressive, young Rev. Brendan Flynn, who is under suspicion of improper relations with one of the male students.
