On Reformation Sunday, October 26, 2014, during the 10:30 A.M. worship service, the music ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church of Des Plaines, 675 E Algonquin Rd, will present J.S. Bach’s cantata “Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott” (A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.) The cantata will be performed in the setting for which it was composed; during worship. Professional orchestral musicians and soloists will join the Trinity chancel choir to bring this magnificent work to life.
