Des Plaines Camera Club Photographic Winners

The Des Plaines Camera Club offers members the opportunity to enter images into competition in both print and electronic formats. Between September and May, Image of the Month awards, Print of the Month, as well as Awards and Honorable Mentions, are presented for both formats. This last competition occurred on March, 2015 .

· DPI (Digital Image) of the Month, April, was awarded to Sue Lindell for ‘Mine’.

· Print of the Month, April, was awarded to John Peterson for ‘Bahai Infrared’.

· DPI (Digital Image) of the Month, May, was awarded to Beth Page for ‘Cowboy’.

· Print of the Month, May, was awarded to Sharon Peterson for ‘Color Explosion’.

In addition, Awards went to Sue Lindell for ‘Raptor’; Beth Page for ‘Sully and Marie Rakoczy won two awards for ‘Wintry Landing’ and ‘Showy Barn Owl’. Honorable Mentions were presented to Jerry Hug for ‘Chives’, Robert Erickson for ‘Swallowtail Landing’ and ‘Red Berries,’ Peter Koch for ‘Car and I’, Beth Page for ‘Josh” and Sue Lindell for ‘Hold the Baby’. Whatever level of interest in photography you have, all are cordially invited to attend a meeting. The Des Plaines Camera Club meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month September thru May. Meetings are at 7:00pm in the Des Plaines Park District Arndt Field House located at 1990 White Street in Des Plaines.
