Enter Oakton Community College playwriting festival for a chance to win $200

Now celebrating its eighth year, Oakton’s “Play On Student Playwriting Festival” gives budding authors a chance to shine. This unique competition is open to all community college students in Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Participants are invited to submit original one-act scripts of any genre. Selected entries will come to life during “Play On”, July 25 - 27, 2016. Each winning playwright will receive $200.

Submission deadline is Friday, April 22. Entries must not have been previously produced in any genre or style. Submit 10 pages or less in a 12-point font. One submission per student; email your Word document to skhurana@oakton.edu, and include your full name, phone number, mailing address, email address and the name of the college you attend.
