Battle of the Bands at the First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines
On Friday, January 28, 2011, The First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines will hold a Battle of the Bands from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Musicians and vocalists of all ages and skill levels are welcome! Drum kit, keyboard and amp are provided. Language and attire appropriate please.

Prizes include a $100 cash award and a chance to win free lessons for a month from the Des Plaines School of Music.
There is no entry fee for this event; however a collection basket will be available for donations of non-perishable items for the Self Help Closet & Food Pantry of Des Plaines
