Chicago Philharmonic at St. Luke's

 

The Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players will present a concert titled Valentine’s Romance. The Chicago Philharmonic is made up primarily of Lyric Opera Orchestra members and other top-flight professional musicians from the Chicago area.  The group will perform love songs by Stephen Sondheim; several tangos by Piazzolla, Two Songs for Voice, Viola and Piano, Op.91 by Brahms; Weber’s Piano Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano; and Couperin’s Le Rossignol en Amour.  Performers are: Jessye Wright, Mezzo-Soprano; William Billingham, Piano; Donna Milanovich, Flute; Karl Davies, Violin, Viola; and Margaret Daly, Cello.
