Des Plaines Art Guild 58th Annual Art Fair Call for Entries

The 58th Annual Des Plaines Invitational Art Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 4th and 5th indoors at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker Street. Artists wishing to participate are invited to download an application from the Des Plaines Art Guild website at www.dpag.org. Artists working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, fiber, airbrush, drawing, etching, scratchboard, digital art, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and three dimensional art, including: sculpture, jewelry, wood carving, ceramics, and leather are invited to participate. All applicants must be juried into the fair unless they have been a member of the Des Plaines Art Guild since April 1, 2011 and have renewed their dues by May 1. Half memberships now available for $12. To jury, send three slides, color prints, or jpeg files on cd with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Des Plaines Art Guild, P.O. Box 81, Des Plaines, IL 60016. The entry fee is $80 for non-members and a $5 jury fee for a 10’x10’ space. The jury fee is $60 for all Des Plaines Art Guild Members, $80 non-members for a 12’x8’ space. Admission to the show is free.
