Footlighters Theatre Company Auditions For the Summer Production of:

THE KING AND I

Directed by Barry Norton

Choreography by Mary Williams

Teens/Adults: Mon., May 14, 6:00pm

Children (ages 6–12): Tue., May 15, 6:00pm

Callbacks: Wednesday, May 16, 7:00pm

Slots are limited, so please contact Nancy Suwalski, at Nancys@ DPParks.org or 847-391-5094 to make an appointment. Walk-ins are welcomed, but may have to wait.

If cast, a participation fee of $75 will apply. Please prepare at least sixteen bars of a song that best shows your strengths. Piano accompaniment will be provided, but pre- recorded instrumental tracks are acceptable. Scripts will be provided for a brief read after singing, with more in depth reads to be done at callbacks. The dance portion of the auditions will also take place at callbacks. Please bring a recent photo, which will not be returned, and be familiar with your schedule to list possible conflicts.

Rehearsal schedule: 

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-9:30pm beginning Monday, May 21.

Performance schedule: July 26–August 5

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:00pm
