Marco’s Pizza and Family Video Open New Restaurant in Wheeling, Ill., Offer Free Cheesy Bread & Pizza

WHAT: Marco’s Pizza, the nation’s fastest-growing pizza company is opening its newest location in Wheeling. To celebrate, Marco's will be offering FREE cheesy bread from 2:30 – 3 p.m. CDT. The company will also give away one free two-topping pizza per month for a year to the first 25 people in line at 2:30 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Jack Butorac, CEO of Marco’s Pizza, and Keith Hoogland, CEO of Family Video will be held between 2 and 3 p.m. CDT.

WHY: The opening marks a significant milestone, as the new restaurant will be the company’s 300th location nationwide, first in Illinois, and third as part of an innovative partnership with Glenview-based Family Video.

The movie and video game retailer has committed to opening an estimated 350 Marco’s Pizza franchises in one half of its current retail plazas, primarily in the Midwest, with 25 in Illinois alone.
