Free chemical dependency support group

Free chemical dependency support group

A free chemical dependency support group is now being offered through the “Keys to Recovery” substance abuse program at Presence Holy Family Medical Center, 100 North River Road, in Des Plaines every Monday evening from 7-8 p.m. The support group is new and free for friends and family members of loved ones who are suffering from addiction.

Addiction is a deadly disease that negatively, and sometimes severely, affects those living and dealing with an addict of any kind. The program helps family and friends by educating and supporting them in the process of dealing with an addict. Research studies have shown that chemical dependency affects over half of American families, making this support an important offering in the community. The group is facilitated by a licensed clinician.

If you or some you know needs support, please attend our free support group. For more information, please call 224.213.3878.
