Group Art Shows Around Des Plaines

Artwork by members of the Des Plaines Art Guild and Park Ridge Art League in three group shows around Des Plaines.

If you venture out this winter to the Des Plaines Public Library, City Hall or the Frisbie Senior Center, you can see artwork on display by members of the Des Plaines Art Guild and the Park Ridge Art League.

The group shows will be up during the months of December and January, with the exception of the library display, which will only be up through the end of December. In January, the DPAG will feature works of art at the library that will be part of a Silent Auction in April, at which time the guild will celebrate its 65th anniversary with the public.

The artists featured currently at the Des Plaines Library’s 3rd floor gallery, 1501 Ellinwood Street, include Joan Heath Fortner, Dolores Kenney, Mary Olson, Rhonda Popko, Dee Schuster, Thelma Cornell Spain and Elaine Tejcek.
