Youth Basketball Starts at Golf Maine Park District
The Golf Maine Park District (GMPD) is hosting basketball classes at Dee Park, Dee and Emerson Roads, in unincorporated Maine Township for area youth starting Sept. 15 and running in two sessions through Dec. 8, 2015. The League Prep (ages 7-9 years old) and Little Dribblers (ages 4-6 years old) programs are held separately.
In both programs, sessions are held Sept. 15 through Oct. 20 and Nov. 3 through Dec. 8. The fee for either is $42. The Instructor is Georgy Mathew.
The League Prep Youth Basketball Class will help develop the necessary basketball skills required to participate in the GMPD 4th – 6th grade basketball league. Participants will practice dribbling, shooting, footwork and other basic basketball principles. Classes are held 5 – 5:45 p.m.

The Little Dribblers Class will teach participants the basic fundamentals of basketball and skills such as dribbling, shooting and footwork. Classes are held 4-4:45 p.m.
