Mt. Prospect Show Attracts Classic Car Lovers from All Around the Area

The love of classic cars, rock 'n roll music, hot food and entertainment brought visitors to Randhurst Mall from around the area on Sept. 10

On Sept 10, Randhurst Shopping Mall held a street fest and classic car show to the delight of hundreds of visitors from around the area.

Here, Dick Barton of Park Ridge talks to Jerry Michaels of Itasca about his 1967 Buick Rivera. Jerry, formerly of Niles, is the original owner. Dick is a member of the Cruisin' Park Ridge Car Show committee so was doing a little "recruiting" for the shows hosted by the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce.

Dick also draw some attention from people asking about Mel Thillens whose campaign shirt he was wearing. He was happy to answer questions about his friend that he is supporting for Illinois State Senate.
