November Meeting of the Des Plaines Art Guild
Karen Sako will do a mixed media demo at the November meeting of the Des Plaines Art Guild on Nov. 10th at Prairie Lakes at 7pm.
The next general meeting of the Des Plaines Art Guild (dpag.org), on Tuesday, November 10th begins at 7:00 pm at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker Street in Des Plaines. The featured artist of the evening will be Karen Sako doing a mixed media demonstration guaranteed to get your creative juices flowing. She will combine several design elements while layering paper with a variety of mediums.
Karen is a graphic designer, art instructor and award winning mixed media artist with a BFA in Visual Communications from the Illinois Institute of Art. Her true love is fine art and she concentrates most of her time on teaching and creating mixed media pet portraits.
She has been sharing her infectious love of art with students in the Chicago area for over 25 years. Her next workshop in Mixed Media will be at the Mainstreet Art Center in Lake Zurich on Sunday, November 15th.
