Open house at Oakton Community College on April 6 focuses on computer courses and careers
Learn about computer courses and careers at an open house at Oakton on April 6.

Oakton Community College, 7701 N. Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, will showcase computer courses and careers at an open house free to the public Wednesday, April 6, from 5 - 6:30 p.m., in Room P103/104.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the college’s offerings in computer applications for business (CAB), computer information systems (CIS), computer networking and systems (CNS), computer science (CSC), and electronics and computer technology (ELT). Meet with Oakton faculty members to discuss courses and career advice.
The open house will include presentations on how to receive a free voucher for Microsoft Office certification exams at 5:15 and 6:15 p.m. Also, get the latest news about cyber security from leading experts including Kevin Thompson, a former cyber analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency.

During the event, attendees will be able to meet with Oakton advisors to learn about financial aid assistance and transfer opportunities. Throughout the open house, free pizza will be served.
