Pakistan Day Competition held in Chicago area with Patriotic Fervor

More than four dozen children of all ages participated Annual Children Competition attended by a large crowd of Community members gather

Pakistan Day is celebrated quite enthusiastically every year on March 23. Chicago and All over the USA Major cities. Each year Pakistani American community Chicago sponsors a Children's Competition open to all children ages 4-16. This year more than four dozen children of all the ages participated Annual Children Competition and attended by a large crowd of Community members gathered on Sunday, March 27, 2022, to take part in the Qirat (Quran Recitation), Nasheed, Quiz and Speech competitions among the Pakistani American Children from Chicago area and its suburbs to Celebrate Pakistan Day Youm e Pakistan in Chicago. The program was held in Chicago at the Lincolnwood Community Center.

Every Year many the people from all segments of the society, particularly the youth and Children Joined the several celebrations of Pakistan day, which was held in Chicago and its suburbs and revive the spirit of Pakistan Day, pledging to continue their efforts in building a strong, united, progressive, and prosperous Pakistan by working selflessly and untiringly keeping in mind that this motherland belongs to all Pakistani Americans also.

Speakers highlighted the purpose day is celebrated in the memory to commemorate the event when the Muslim League adopted the Pakistan resolution at the Minar-e-Pakistan that called for establishing an independent federation comprising provinces with Muslim majority located in north-western and north-eastern region of British controlled territories in India on 23 March 1940.

The program concludes with several sections. First session of the program was children’s Quran Recitation. Second session of the program was Nasheed Recitation. The third session of the program was speech competition. At the end many children got a prize for taking first, second and third position.

The event was made more special with the attendance of several dignitaries including the Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Tariq Kareem and Mrs. Aasma Tariq. At the end dinner was served.
