Thillens Supporters Host Fundraiser Sept. 25

Supporters of Mel Thillens will gather Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6-8 p.m. at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, for a campaign fundraising event. “An Evening with Mel Thillens” will bring citizens, volunteers, and other elected officials together to raise funds and rally the troops as the campaign for Illinois State Representative of the 55th District enters the final phase leading up to the Nov. 4 election.

The host committee includes John Zimmermann, Sean and Michelle Barry, Rob Brown, John D. Burke, John Carpenter, Char Foss-Eggemann, Richard and Judi Johnson, Judith Kennedy, Marc Levine, Mike and Kristen Mizwicki, Jim O’Donnell, Patrick and Melanie Owens, Jim Stonebridge, Susan Sweeney, and Tom and Holly Zimmermann. Tickets are $100 per person or $150 per couple.

Among the dignitaries expected to attend are State Senator Matt Murphy and State Senator Darin LaHood along with local and regional elected officials and other candidates.
