$10,000 Worth Of Cigarettes Stolen in Westmont Robbery: Police

The suspect(s) broke a window to get into a business in the 0-100 block of 63rd Street. They made off with $10,000 worth of smokes.

WESTMONT, IL — More than $10,000 in cigarettes were stolen from a business in Westmont early Thursday morning. According to police, the break-in occurred in the 0-100 block of 63rd Street between 2:00 and 2:20 a.m.

A release from Westmont Police Department stated that the offender(s) broke a glass window to gain entry to the business. Upon entering, the suspect(s) removed several boxes and cartons of cigarettes. Along with the broken window, the total estimated loss is $15,000.
