100s Of Items Donated At Naperville Park District's Inaugural Sports Gear Sale And Swap
Part of the funds raised by sales during the event will help make park district programs more accessible for residents in need.
NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Park District's inaugural sports equipment swap and sale saw more than 600 items donated and more than 300 items purchased.
The week-long event took place from March 16 through March 20, with residents encouraged to donate sports equipment that was new or had been gently used.
A portion of the funds from the 309 items sold will benefit Naperville Park District’s Fee Assistance Program, which helps make park district programs more accessible for residents in need.

A total of 260 sports equipment items were donated to Zeman's Kicks for Kids, the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance and Soccer Gear for Zambia. Remaining items will be available at upcoming sports gear swaps.
