2 Men Charged In Shootout In Naperville: Cops
A Woodridge man and a Naperville man face felony charges after Wednesday's shooting.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A Woodridge man and a Naperville man face felony charges after a shooting that took place in Naperville Wednesday. Christopher C. Partin, 31, of the 1600 block of Country Lakes Dr., Naperville, and Trinny R. Thomas, 36, of the 7000 block of Woodworth Ave., Woodridge, have been charged in connection with the incident.
Police were called to the 500 block of Fessler Ave. for a report of shots fired around 3:41 p.m. Wednesday. One man had suffered a graze wound and was treated at the scene, according to police.
After the incident, police say they conducted a two-day investigation that led to the charges against Thomas and Partin.

Partin is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Thomas has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, obstructing, reckless discharge of a firearm, resisting arrest, and assault.

After the investigation was complete and charges were filed, Deputy Chief Jason Arres said, "Our officers and investigators did an outstanding job piecing together the events of this case and gathering all of the evidence necessary to secure these charges."
