$6K In Tools Stolen From Work Trailer In Downers Grove
The thieves stole reciprocating saws, drills, air compressors, and other tools.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL --- Downers Grove police are investigating an incident in which thousands of dollars worth of tools was stolen from a work trailer parked at a hotel. The victim told police the items were stolen sometime between Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 while the trailer was parked at the Comfort Inn located at 3010 Finley Rd. overnight.
According to police, a suspect or suspects cut the padlock on the trailer to gain entry. Once inside, they stole the following tools:
- Hammer drill
- Reciprocating saws
- Air compressors
- Nail guns
- Drivers
- Battery packs
- Leaf blower
- Sand saw
- Heating gun
