Contractors Trapped In Storm Sewer In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Two contractors were trapped inside a storm sewer Monday amid heavy rain in Downers Grove, according to a news release from the village.

The incident took place around 1 p.m., bringing a large rescue effort to the area near the 800 block of Curtiss Street.
