• Grant From ComEd Will Help Lyman Woods Expand Pollinator Habitat (patch.com) — Downers Grove's Lyman Woods is set to enhance its Snappy's Bridge Pollinator Passage Project thanks to a $3,500 ComEd Green Region grant. The Downers Grove Park District will restore a quarter-acre by removing invasive plants, adding native species, and installing educational signage to help residents learn about and support endangered pollinators like the rusty-patched bumble bee.
