At the Pump: Cheapest Gas for July 8

Gas prices have edged up slightly since last week, although several Downers Grove stations continue to post prices well under $4 per gallon of regular gas. The Chicago-area average gas price, however, is down a smidge from last week, to $4.014. That's still above the state average of $3.845 and the national average of $3.612, both of which are up slightly since July 1.
