Bob's Discount Furniture To Host Grand Opening In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Bob's Discount Furniture will host a grand opening for its new Downers Grove location on Feb. 13. The event will feature free snacks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with donations to local organizations.

The grand opening will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and appearances from Downers Grove Development Director Mia Churma and Commissioner Michael Davenport, along with executives from from Bob's Discount Furniture.

Donations checks from Bob's Discount Furniture will be presented to Butterfield Elementary School and Sharing Connections. Ryan Varju, the CEO and Executive Director of Sharing Connections will be on hand to accept the check and share brief comments.

The 42,717 square foot store, which features a café, is located at 1556 Butterfield Rd. and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
